Puppy Kindergarten at Avery Animal Hospital

Puppy Kindergarten

Puppy Kindergarten is an important step in creating a confident, relaxed, and well behaved dog!

Your puppy will:

  • Learn basic manners, such as polite walking and greeting people
  • Socialize with other puppies and new people
  • Associate fun experiences with our hospital

You will learn how to:

  • Teach your puppy manners using positive reinforcement training techniques
  • Prevent and solve common behavior problems such as play biting, barking, and stealing objects

Kindergarten participants receive a Start Right puppy handbook as well as a clicker.

Puppy Kindergarten classes are held on Thursday at 7:45 pm. The whole family is welcome to participate.

Puppies must be between the ages of 16 weeks and 7 months to attend class.

All puppies must receive a DAPLP (Distemper combination) and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine at least 7 days prior to starting class.

If you are interested in signing up for Puppy Kindergarten, please click here. This informative orientation is a prerequisite for the class. Peyton will get back with you to get you and your puppy signed up for class.
