You no longer are required to wear a mask while in the building. We continue to clean high touch areas often through out the day and will have hand sanitizer available for use. If you are interested in attending one of our classes please click on the link at the bottom of this page or go to our canine 101 tab under services.
Please refer to Puppy and Kitten care for additional resources and videos to help you begin teaching your puppy the needed social experiences during their critical development period of 7-16 weeks.
Puppy Kindergarten
Puppy Kindergarten is an important step in creating a confident, relaxed, and well behaved dog!
Your puppy will:
- Learn basic manners, such as polite walking and greeting people
- Socialize with other puppies and new people
- Associate fun experiences with our hospital
You will learn how to:
- Teach your puppy manners using positive reinforcement training techniques
- Prevent and solve common behavior problems such as play biting, barking, and stealing objects
Kindergarten participants receive a Start Right puppy handbook as well as a clicker.
Puppy Kindergarten classes are held on Thursday at 7:45 pm. The whole family is welcome to participate.
Puppies must be between the ages of 16 weeks and 7 months to attend class.
All puppies must receive a DAPLP (Distemper combination) and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine at least 7 days prior to starting class.
