Essential Oils are Toxic to Dogs
It seems that there is a new horror story every day on essential oils and pets lately. Our Dr Benson addressed the concerns with essential oils and cats in her blog: and now it is time to give our canine friends equal time.

Essential Oils and Cats
Essential oils are volatile, organic constituents of plants that contribute to fragrance and taste. They are extracted from plants via distillation or cold pressing. Essential oils are utilized in a variety of ways: as insecticides, in aromatherapies, personal care products (e.g., antibacterials), flavorings, herbal remedies and liquid potpourri.

Seresto Collar Concerns

In our practice, reports of reaction have been infrequent and primarily limited to skin irritation that resolved readily with removal of the collar

Nutritional Counseling
Good nutrition for our dogs and cats is just as important in keeping them healthy and feeling good as it is for is.
